  1. Monday Sign Up starts Sunday evening prior to the following Monday Format.
  2. Any member signing up for the scheduled format prior to the cutoff (5 P.M., Friday prior to scheduled Monday format) is guaranteed - subject to game restrictions - a spot in our competition up to our allowed player maximum set by The Golf Club at La Quinta. If need be, please cancel prior to noon Sunday prior to the scheduled Monday format.
  3. Any member signing up after the format is full, prior to the cutoff (5 P.M. on Friday prior to scheduled Monday format) will be placed on a Stand-By list
  4.  NOTE: Late sign ups after 5 pm on Friday are discouraged.  Your coordinator begins arranging the pairings after the sign-up sheet closes at 5 pm Fri. & then continues on Sat., after he has turned in a list of sign-ups to the pro shop, so that they have an idea of who is enlisted to play.  Now on Sunday, the coordinator presents another copy of the members signed up and a tentative pairings schedule for those players.  Then scorecards are printed for that event.  If a member then decides, last minute, he is available for our event, it may be disruptive to the coordinator to fit him in.  Pairings, scoresheets, scorecards, and payouts all have to be adjusted and reprinted sometimes, to make sure our event runs smoothly and quickly and accurately.
  5. Stand-By List – Members signing up after the format is full or after the cutoff (5P.M. on Friday prior to the scheduled Monday format) will be placed on the Stand-By List (Note: After foursomes are published and a member is not included, they will have been placed on the Stand-by List in the order of sign-up. If the member does not wish to be placed on the Stand-By List, please make note in the comments section. Members on the Stand-By List should be available to play on very short notice, including Monday morning.) Sign-ups will be based on the date and time stamp, next to the member’s name, (The date and time stamp is created by the host server located in the Central Standard Time Zone).
  6. Any member will have the option to cancel before 5 P.M., Sunday prior to the scheduled Monday format. After the cancellation cutoff, the member will be expected to play the Monday format for which they signed up, unless an emergency occurs that will not allow the member to participate. (Please contact Monday Play Coordinator as soon as possible, so we may attempt to fill the spot.) If the spot cannot be filled, the member cancelling may still be responsible to pay the entry fee. ($10).
